KABUL, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan government has declared the forest of Nuristan as a protected site and national park this year to boost tourism.

The United Nations celebrated World Tourism Day on Sept. 27 each year to raise awareness on the role of tourism among the international community.
