Cormac Murphy, of Cloughbally Upper, Mullagh, lost his fight for life yesterday at Dublin's Beaumont Hospital. The 20-year-old leaves behind his parents Fergus and Bernie, sister Andrea and step-sister Rachel. Cormac was seriously injured in the accident along with five others when their car hit a ditch in Rantavan, near Mullagh, at 5.30am last Sunday. The friends were travelling in a black Volkswagen along the Claddagh Road when the crash happened. Pete Rogers, Mark O'Brien, Edward O'Brien and Cormac were all treated at hospitals in the capital.
